About HAPFS
The Hillsborough Auxiliary to Peninsula Family Service(HAPFS) is a vibrant group of women dedicated to fundraising for Peninsula Family Service, a San Mateo-based nonprofit based that has supported and strengthened vulnerable Bay Area residents for almost 75 years. Through programs focused on Financial Empowerment, Early Learning, and Older Adult Services, Peninsula Family Service helps over 10,000 individuals annually to overcome the barriers to opportunity, financial stability, and wellness.

Fund-A-Need
The Fund-A-Need for this year’s Thanks For Giving celebration will raise funds for the Peninsula Family Service (PFS) Youth Financial Empowerment Program. PFS Youth Financial Empowerment workshops provide young people ages 13-20 with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed financial decisions, avoid debt, and build their futures. When teens understand budgeting, saving, investing, and responsible credit use, they are better prepared to navigate the complexities of the financial world. Join us to help PFS reach more communities, schools, and teens so they may take control of their finances and learn behaviors to build assets and achieve long-term financial freedom.
